OUR STORY
The Bengal Logistics Ltd. is specialist in M.I.C.E. & Business Tourism, Project Management / Partnering, Logistics Support and Ground Handling Services since 1999. The company has been launched with a group of tourism professionals to provide logistics support and ground handling service in Bangladesh, having the total workforce of 65 personnel, 2 workstations at Dhaka & Khulna, fleet of motor vehicles, cruise ships and language guide/interpreters (English, Japanese, German & Chinese). We have 8 full-time media coordinators and among them, 4 are especially for Japanese media, also we have 10 English speaking fulltime guides those who are taking care of European markets. Besides, we outsource different language interpreter for the different market. The company is well established and boasts an impressive list of clients, who come from the Public, Private, Voluntary, Education and Charity Sectors. Our professional approach to our business activities has earned a remarkable reputation in this field what we always try to keep upward. The areas of our activities are from large range to small-scale wherever we have scope to work.
Our Achievements:
- We have served for around 35000 tourists during the last 18 years. (Including Japanese, Italian, Dutch, British, American & other Europeans).
- Successfully arranged local & international conventions, receptions, seminars with all logistics support.
- THROUGH MEDIA: We provided research & coordination for more than 100 documentaries and including 3 world heritage sites, global warming issue & sea level rise, micro credit and many more interesting subjects in Bangladesh. Especially for Japanese TV broadcasting companies like NHK TV, in Europe we worked for BBC, National Geographic, ABC TV, Pivot TV USA etc.
- Support staffs (receptionist & drivers) and all logistics to USA Peace Corps Bangladesh from 1999 – 2006
- Airport protocol service & support staffs (receptionist & drivers) to JICA Dhaka Office, Bangladesh from 2001 – 2010
- Full furnished office setup, local manpower recruitment, technical & logistics support for Dhaka Metro Rail Survey Project under direct monitoring of JICA Bangladesh from July’ 2013 – July’ 2015
- Have been providing logistical and administrative support to SilvaCarbon Bangladesh program managed by U.S Forest Service International Programs since 2013 Have been providing logistical and administrative support to BIMS Project managed by U.S Forest Service International Programs since 2018
- Research work & logistics support for making documentary film on Sundarbans mangrove forest (local & foreign media / production house)
- Successfully accomplished couple of survey project (two months long each) supported by USAID’s Bengal Tiger Conservation Activity (BAGH) and the implementing local conservation organization WILD TEAM inside the Sundarbans forest (Nov’ 2016 – Jan’ 2017) & (February – March’ 2018) with the help of Bangladesh Forest Department (BDF).

MICE stands for meetings, incentives, conferencing & exhibitions. It is a niche area of tourism that is focused around the planning and booking of groups for large events, conferences or seminars.
Project Management
PROJECT MANAGEMENT is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements. A project is temporary in that it has a defined beginning and end in time.

Managing DirectorIn 1996 I started my career in service industry with a pioneer tourism organization as an Executive Officer. It was in 1999 I decided to launch my own organization with only 3 people, now it’s having the total workforce of 65 personnel, 2 workstations at Dhaka & Khulna, fleet of motor vehicles, cruise ships and language guide/interpreters (English, Japanese, German & Chinese).
Ever since the launching my company has catered wide cross section of travelers across Bangladesh and internationally for services in Bangladesh and abroad. I have traveled extensively home and abroad and I play vital role in the company right from planning, product designing, marketing and execution. Development of Bangladesh tourism is my prime object. Since from the beginning we have been branding our country as "Bangladesh: the land of smiles”
